The cable just came in just 2 days and tested them. It is much superior than Sky provided cable and has improved the AV output. A 5 Star product and a full value for money.

So far I have absolutely no trust in any of the cables I am buying. This is the third cable I have bought for my blu ray player, and the exact same problems are happening. Both our HDTVs are only 720p not 1080p, so maybe that is the problem, or maybe it's a fault with the blu ray player itself. Either way, every cable that people say are great, I am just being continuously let down all the time, the signal will not seem to be permanantly held while using the blu ray player. The results are continuous flickering and the screen going blank for a few seconds and sometimes minutes before recovering. Something is wrong, I don't know what, my confidence in it all has gone, both TVs I have connected the blu ray player to are showing similar results, and I'me fed up with it. I was at first very excited about entering the world of blu ray, but so far I have had continuous frustration, and there's obviously something they are not doing right. It's probably not really Amazon's fault, it's the actual makers of these cables surely.
This is now a slightly edited version of the original. This cable is now performing without any faults whatsoever, due to my own perseverence that is. This now makes the above statement look like a falsification, something of which it wasn't originally you understand, the above issues were a never ending problem as stated.
Since then this cable is now appearing to be living up to my initial expectation, as described in the product description, extraordinary. Will update again, should things as they currently stand change in the future, as close monitoring on every period of operation will be the key to this.

Certainly this HDMI cable is worth every pence. I had another HDMI cable bought at 1.59 £ (To be precise) and I thought that was good too. But when I played the Dark Knight blu-ray using that cable connected and then played the same using this cable, I certainly felt the difference with the audio carrier of this cable. Because the audio quality along with volume levels at which it attained that was early than the other cable and the picture much sharper/vivid. I would certainly think that these cables are twice or thrice the money if you walk into those High street shops for advice. Nylon shield and the gold connector along with caps - Gives this a real rich look as well.
I will certainly recommend this cable to any one having a HDTV and a BD player for sure.
