| Customer Reviews: An American Werewolf in London A TRUE CLASSIC August 7, 2009 L. Tiley (Kent England) This film was the fore-runner of Micheal Jackson's Thriller video, and was the inspiration for it, apparently. It is in the Hammer horror style, with the characters and make-up getting more and more absurd and OTT as the film moves on. I cannot ignore the famous shower scene, with Jenny Agutter showering to the soundtrack of Van Morrison's Moondance, which is just one of the great tracks featured.A great Saturday night movie!!!

Dont listen to the other negative comments about this hd dvd. Its great!I bought it for £3.99 and it was worth every penny. The picture stands out as good as ever and the sound is crystal clear.
As for the film itself, well, it must be one of the best 80`s movies ever made. Cheerio!
Great film - shame about the HD image January 27, 2008 Mr. Jn Pappas 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are an absolute fan and must have the best version available then buy this. Otherwise stick to the SD version. Yes, this is a sharper picture when you have close ups of the actors but on the whole it is very grainy. It may be the fault of the original print but I feel they did a bit of a rush job on this when they created the HD version.Definitely worth renting before buying.
