I'm very impressed with this player. It can play any random video file on my usb stick or my data dvds. It all runs very nicely and quickly. Needless to say blu-ray looks fantastic and regular dvds are upscaled, so as long as you buy a hdmi cable to go with it you will experience top of the range video playback. You-tube works well too, but bare in mind that you need an ethernet cable handy because it cannot connect wirelessly like a wii for example. On the whole it is a brilliant player at a brilliant price.

After much research I settled on this blue ray player. Price / performance wise its unbeatable.
positives
Exterior build quality its the best of the bunch, it has an expensive feel to it compared to the plastic fantastics out there...
Picture quality is as expected excellent, it loads blue ray discs quickly.... the up scaling feature is damm good, all in all too a very impressive performer.
I hooked the beast up to the internet and its fairly easy to watch youtube on your tv you use the remote to drive an on screen keyboard to search you tube. Its a very nice feature I hope LG release a new version of the players software to make surfing better. Yes you can update the players firmware via the internet its easy to do.
negatives - the remote is a bit plastic and cheap
also as a nice touch when playing a disc the centre panel lights up with a circle (backlight LED) a blue circle for blue ray and a red circle for normal dvd's

This is really the best blu ray I have seen.i have had a philips before this.and this blows it out the water.stunning picture and sound.youtube is great as well.runs very smooth.no noise.fast loading of discs.it also had a 24hz or 50hz option.choose 24hz for your movies.it truly is a smooth realistic picture.great priced.just buy it.

I currently have an LG 46" tv with an LG home cinema, i bought an lg blu ray player with internet access to take advantage of the net connection. But the sound did not work it was only in stereo from the front 2 speakers or the tv speakers. I replaced the player with the sony 370 and the sound and picture are great. Blu ray disks are fantastic but best of all is i can now connect to love film, bbci, you tube and many more wish i had bought this product firstLG BD360 High Definition 1080P Blu-Ray Player with YouTube
